IWC Benefactors
We owe many people and organizations our deepest gratitude. The generosity and forsight of those behind the Alma Natura Trust has made much of this possible. Those who agreed to serve on the Steering Committee are moving the concept to reality. The Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation's keen understanding of the conservation landscape is currently safeguarding the land and finances. The Founding Board will lead the organization with the wisdom of its cumulative years. RDG Planning and Design, Des Moines, worked with us over the past year to create a conceptual vision of what the facility and surrounding area might look like. Entrepreneurial Technologies designed a wonderful website, trained us to maintain it and promises to keep us in line! These people and businesses have given their time and talent pro bono to see that the Iowa Wildlife Center is off to a wonderful start.

But it is you who have chosen to spend a few moments reading about who we are and what we will become that deserves perhaps our greatest thanks. We fervently believe that you know in your hearts that the wild lives around us deserve at least to be given a chance to become part of the wild once again. We'd love to have you part of this adventure!
Who says Iowa is boring?
Have you ever watched a bat eat a mealworm? Have you ever watched young chimney swifts take their first flight? Have you ever watched a child watching a bunny take its first hops to independence? Yes? Then we're sure you'll support us. No? Then come along and come alive!
